Semax and neurotrophin-signaling research
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide related to an ACTH fragment. A 2006 study in rats examined BDNF and its receptor TrkB in the hippocampus, reporting changes in protein levels, receptor phosphorylation and gene expression. These endpoints explain its relevance to neurotrophin-signaling research; they do not establish a memory benefit in people.
Read Dolotov et al. (2006), the rat hippocampus study. If comparing neuroscience materials, review the separate Selank 10 mg listing and its research sources. Semax and Selank are distinct compounds, not interchangeable names.
What the 10 mg listing means
The listed amount is total peptide content per vial, not a prepared solution concentration. Before ordering, review the available batch documentation and confirm that it matches the lot you need. Ask SRP about current-lot documentation if a report or specification needs clarification.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or animal use, consumption, administration, diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic application.
